ON-DEVICE AI PROCESSING AND RELAY INFRASTRUCTURE

  • In AI Mode, video analysis, object detection, surfer tracking, and clip decisions are performed locally on the iPhone used as the beach camera. AI Mode can operate fully offline.
  • In Watch Mode or Relay Mode, GPS coordinates and device control signals may be transmitted through Surflens relay infrastructure to connect Apple Watch, the surfer's iPhone when used, and the beach camera.
  • This relay function is used only to deliver commands and session data needed for the feature to work. Video processing and AI analysis remain on-device and are not performed by third-party AI services in the cloud.
  • Recorded videos are stored locally on the iPhone used as the camera unless you actively export, sync, share, or back up them through available features you choose to use.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We may share personal data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With infrastructure and service providers that process data on our behalf to support connectivity, security, diagnostics, account services, storage, customer support, or relay functionality.

  • In AI Mode, the app can operate fully offline on the beach-camera iPhone. In Watch Mode and Relay Mode, connectivity may be required for command relay, but video processing and AI analysis remain on-device.
  • Use of user-generated content, including ownership, licenses, or public sharing rights, is governed by the Terms of Use. Surflens does not use recorded videos for third-party AI processing, and does not use recorded videos for public marketing without a valid legal basis and any consent required by applicable law.

ON-DEVICE AI PROCESSING AND RELAY INFRASTRUCTURE

  • In AI Mode, video analysis, object detection, surfer tracking, and clip decisions are performed locally on the iPhone used as the beach camera. AI Mode can operate fully offline.
  • In Watch Mode or Relay Mode, GPS coordinates and device control signals may be transmitted through Surflens relay infrastructure to connect Apple Watch, the surfer's iPhone when used, and the beach camera.
  • This relay function is used only to deliver commands and session data needed for the feature to work. Video processing and AI analysis remain on-device and are not performed by third-party AI services in the cloud.
  • Recorded videos are stored locally on the iPhone used as the camera unless you actively export, sync, share, or back up them through available features you choose to use.
